We can’t wait for you to join our WattFamily. Once you’re an Oriam Student Member, you can join as many Sports Union Clubs as you like from as little as £15. SU Members get more back through investment in their sport than the total cost of their Oriam and club membership combined…that’s a WattWin!

Gold Oriam Student Memberships are available all year round, with Silver, Bronze and all Sports Union Club Memberships on sale from 1st September.

How to Join

It’s easy to join Oriam and any of our Sports Union Clubs on the Our Oriam app. You’ll need a valid Oriam membership to join a Sports Union Club. Scroll down for more information on prices and how it all works.

All HWU students have an account for the Our Oriam app under your hw.ac.uk email address, even if you’re new here, so please don’t create a new account!
New students will receive a welcome email with your password to log in. If you don’t have your password, please hit the reset password button and follow the instructions.

Oriam Student Membership

As well as unlocking membership to the Sports Union, joining Oriam gives you access to our state of the art gym and all group exercise classes. You can also book court space or studio time to get some extra practice in or to just enjoy getting active with friends.

Oriam memberships can be purchased from 1st August 2023 for the upcoming academic year. Check out the Oriam website for more information.

SU Club Membership

Once you’ve bought your Oriam Student Membership through the Our Oriam app, simply follow the same steps to buy your Sports Union Club Membership.

Sports Union members benefit from:

  • exclusive member-only skills development opportunities
  • get even more value from your Oriam membership
  • and above all else…make friends for life!

Each club has a different joining fee and all details can be found by visting our club training schedule. Some clubs have an additional team fee which you’ll be asked to pay if you’re representing your club competitively. Your club will let you know if you need to pay this additional team fee.
