University life is about so much more than study and exams. Book a slot to come along to Oriam on Friday 10th September to meet the student societies, services and sports clubs who will become a big part of your student experience and help you to look after your well-being during your time at Heriot-Watt.
Watt Welcome Fair Quiet Zone will take place from 10:00-10:30 with less people and allow you to browse the stalls in a quieter, calmer environment.
With over 100 exhibitors attending the event, including Student Union Societies and Sports Union Clubs, there’s something for everyone, from the Debating Society to the Ultimate Frisbee Club and everything in between! We’ve also got a live football match on Oriam’s incredible indoor pitch and some fun challenges and showcases for you to enjoy. You won’t be disappointed!
Keeping you safe
Numbers will be limited to ensure the event can be run safely and in line with Government and University guidelines, with social distancing measures in place. You must book a 20 minute arrival slot to secure your place at the event.
On the day, student volunteers will greet you at Oriam’s main entrance and ask to see your ticket on your phone as proof of your booking.
Face coverings are mandatory in the exhibition spaces, and in all other spaces, wherever two metre distancing is not possible.
Unfortunately if you’re in quarantine, you’ll need to give the event a miss but make sure you follow us on social media to stay connected!
We’re all looking forward to meeting you on the day!
