How did you get into your sport?

I grew up playing football. As I turned 13/14 I started going along to open sessions for Volleyball and I realised that I really enjoyed it. I started playing for my local team and on a trip I was scouted by a Scottish youth coach which is how I became involved with the Scotland Junior programme. I have enjoyed this process and now I play forthe senior men’s national team.

What are the best and most challenging things about your sport?

I enjoy the team aspect of my sport and I enjoy competing to be the best. The most challenging part is balancing my sport with my studying.

What have been your biggest achievements to date?

The highlight of my career would be when our Scotland Men’s team won the SCA European Championships 2019 in the Faroes. I was voted best player Middle of the tournament.

What are your goals in your sport?

My goals are to continue to improve as well as competing the the national team.

What do you do to relax when you’re not training or competing?

When I’m not training or competing I like to relax by spending time with my friends.
