About Our Trip
Each year the club organises a week-long holiday to a resort in the Alps. Whether you’re a complete beginner, have never seen snow, can ski or snowboard, the trip is great fun for all – you don’t even have to take part in snowsports! We organise events in resort on the mountain and in the evenings, so there’s always lots going on. You don’t need any previous experience and you don’t even need your own equipment. We run our club holiday to a different resort each year.

Accommodation
Everyone on the HWSSC trip stays in one accommodation block (or a block close-by if you choose to upgrade). It is self-catering accommodation, and the trip operator provides security & safeguarding services at the accommodation.
As part of your trip package, you can choose to be in a room with your friends, or you can be allocated one on your behalf.
Travel
The basic package includes accommodation and your lift pass for the resort. You can choose to add on return travel by executive coach for a fee, with pick-up from either our campus, London, or Dover. You can take the coach both ways, just one way, or neither. Alternatively, you can add on airport transfers as part of your booking, or you can organise your own. You cannot book flights through the trip operator, however there are always plenty of options to airports that transfers are offered from/to.
Please pay special attention to new post-Brexit travel requirements, most significantly the need to have a passport that is both less than 10 years old (from the issue date) and with 6 months validity remaining.
Lift Pass, Lessons & Equipment
Included in your package is a full area lift pass for the resort we go to. You can book on to various levels of lessons with local English-speaking instructors in-resort, as well as varying grades of equipment hire packages. Where the resort we go to connects to other resorts, it will be possible to buy an upgraded lift pass for the connecting resorts.
Booking
Trip bookings are secured by a deposit, with the full balance due 6 weeks before the holiday departure date. You will find your booking terms and conditions, between you and the trip operator, on the booking page (link coming soon when bookings open!).
