I participated in athletics at school before joining the local club at 9 and I’ve been set on athletics ever since.

What are the best and most challenging things about your sport?

Whilst athletics may seem like a simple sport I love how many little things can be adjusted to help improve times and race tactics.

What have been your biggest achievements to date?

Being selected to race for Scotland at an international and placing 2nd has to be the biggest achievement to date. Although there have been many smaller wins which are huge milestones for me.

What are your goals in your sport?

In the coming years I would like to be selected for the senior Scotland team to continue on with my u20 success.

What do you do to relax when you’re not training or competing?

When I’m not training I will often be found on the dance floor or socialising with my friends.

Who is your sporting icon, and why?

I’ve always looked up to a number of athletes, currently I am inspired by Dina Asher-Smith who has battled injuries in the face of the public and proved that she can overcome many obstacles.

Tell us a fun fact…

I may have fallen over the line on numerous occasions, it’s a hidden talent.
