How did you get into your sport?

From a very young age I was always dancing about so my parents decided to take me to my local dance school at the age of 3 and by the age of 7 I started dancing competitively.

What are the best and most challenging things about your sport?

The best thing about dance is going to competitions and being surrounded with other people who’s passion for dance is just as strong as yours, and the huge atmosphere that you get while dancing!

What have been your biggest achievements to date?

  • When I first started competing I was only 7 years old and my 2nd competition I ever went to was my first world championship qualifier and I took 2nd place meaning I qualified for the UDO World StreetDance Championships in Blackpool 2011. Ever since then I have qualified for the world championships every year!

  • In 2014 I became Under14 Advanced Scottish champion in all of my categories (Team, solo, duet) and I kept the Scottish champion title from 2014-2016.

  • In 2017 I went to the UDO World StreetDance Championships and took 4th place world champion title with my team in the Under14 Advanced section.

What are your goals in your sport?

Even though I don’t want to do dance as a full time career I would still like to have to opportunity to dance in music videos, alongside singers, etc!

What do you do to relax when you’re not training or competing?

When I’m not training/competing I enjoy going out with my friends and spending time with them. I also enjoy watching tv/films as a way to relax.
