How did you get into your sport?

Played since a very young age. Grew up playing a wide variety of sport before cutting down to focus on rugby from the age of about 14.

What are the best and most challenging things about your sport?

Team aspect is very rewarding. Achievements are together, failures are together. Either of them always bring the squad closer together.

What have been your biggest achievements to date?

Playing two years with Scotland U20 and making my professional rugby debut are the two that stand out in my head.

What are your goals in your sport?

Have a long career playing professional and become the best player I can be.

What do you do to relax when you’re not training or competing?

Study, recover and playing on the PS4 mainly. If I can, I will try get back home for some golf as well.

Who is your sporting icon, and why?

Tyson Fury – the comeback he has made in the past 3 years is unbelievable and his ability to overcome his mental health issues to allow him to get back competing sets him apart from the rest. Incredibly resilient and gifted athlete.
