Watt is Volleyball?

Volleyball is a game played by two teams, usually of six players on a side, in which the players use their hands to bat a ball back and forth over a high net, trying to make the ball touch the court within the opponents’ playing area before it can be returned.

As a club we welcome everyone of any ability to join in our sessions as we look to work on your skills throughout the year no matter how long you have played for. We offer competitive opportunities for those looking to join a team, we offer coaching for 4 teams (2 men’s and 2 women’s), and we offer plenty of completive opportunities for recreational members by holding in-house tournaments and enter teams into community 4v4 tournaments.

Competitions

We have 4 teams that compete in BUCS:

Men’s 1s – Division 1

Women’s 1s – Dvision 1

Men’s 2s – Division 3

We play our games on Sunday throughout the year. Our first team members are offered Strength and Conditioning sessions with a sports scientist in Oriam’s Performance Gym on Mondays.
