The Sports Union and the University recognise that, during the current cost of living crisis, many more students may find themselves in financial difficulties.
If you feel like you cannot afford the cost of an Oriam membership then dont worry as the University provides financial support to help with the cost of living. At the Sports Union we don’t want anyone missing out on sport due to a financial barrier so please make use of this fund to help you access everything available to you at Heriot-Watt.
Participation Grant
The Participation grant is money to help students pay for Heriot-Watt Sports Clubs or Society membership. You can apply for up to £100 here.

Employment Opportunities
There are also a couple of employment opportunities within the university as general assistants and food and beverage assistants paying £11.03 per hour. This is a great way to earn some money and fit it around your classes. You can find out more through the links below.
